A trav\u00e9s de modelos computacionales avanzados, es posible recrear las condiciones iniciales del cosmos y seguir su evoluci\u00f3n hasta la formaci\u00f3n de galaxias, c\u00famulos y estructuras a gran escala. Estas simulaciones permiten probar teor\u00edas sobre la materia oscura, la energ\u00eda oscura y los procesos f\u00edsicos que han dado forma al universo tal como lo conocemos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En el Centro de Astro-Ingenier\u00eda UC, esta \u00e1rea liderada por la acad\u00e9mica Patricia Tissera, desarrolla y analiza simulaciones de \u00faltima generaci\u00f3n que incorporan datos observacionales y modelos f\u00edsicos detallados. Estas simulaciones no solo ayudan a interpretar observaciones astron\u00f3micas actuales, sino que tambi\u00e9n permiten hacer predicciones sobre fen\u00f3menos a\u00fan no detectados. Se utilizaron datos de Gaia y APOGEE para confrontar los resultados y realizar predicciones sobre las etapas iniciales de la evoluci\u00f3n de nuestra galaxia, la V\u00eda L\u00e1ctea.
